Our history
The Woodcurl adventure began in a small Swiss workshop, with a dream and a passion for wood. Our founder, a local craftsman, wanted to share his passion for wood by creating pieces that combine functionality and aesthetics.
Meet the Craftsman
I’m David, the heart and soul of Woodcurl. My journey into woodworking began long before my professional career, in my father’s workshop. It was there, watching him transform pieces of rough wood into works of art, that I discovered my passion. From an early age, I’ve been a tinkerer, fascinated by the transformation of wood and the stories each piece could tell. Although my initial career path didn’t lead me directly into crafts, the call of wood was too strong to ignore. Today, every Woodcurl creation is the fruit of this inherited passion and a deep desire to carry on my father’s traditional art, adding my own touch.
